KapCon XI : The Eleventh Hour, was held in the Newlands Community Hall over the period 19 - 20th of January 2002 and represented a record level in KapCon attendance. This was also the first year we ran the Scenario Design Competition.
We recieved sponsorship from Green Knight, Chaosium, and Dream Pod 9. Conan McKegg, author of several Tribe 8 publications attended, as did Martin Rait represented New Zealand's own F-Space RPG.

It has become a tradition that there be a LARP, or Live Action Role-Playing game, on the Saturday night of KapCon. Kapcon XI was no exception, and as with the convention as a whole, the live game was well attended.
